Intel Hades Canyon NUC Review

Whenever you hear of the word Intel, you are sure that whatever the product is, it will deliver whatever expectation, no matter the size or shape. One thing for sure is that no one expected an agreement between Intel and AMD leading to the production of one of the best and competitive gaming PC, the Intel Hades Canyon NUC. From the design to the performance and not forgetting the price, this gaming PC offers a gaming experience of a lifetime. The size is pretty small, but that is to the advantage of this PC, so be sure not to judge it by its size, instead start thinking how such a small PC can offer an extraordinary gaming experience compared to other PCs.

What is Intel Hades Canyon NUC?

As earlier stated, Intel Hades Canyon NUC resulted from a partnership between Intel and AMD. It is merely the smallest Virtual Reality (VR) capable PC that involves a combination of an Intel quad-core processor with unified and distinct AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics, into a single chip. If you don’t know the reason as to why most gaming PCs do not provide the best of graphics in the course of gameplay, it because it doesn’t have an AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics, as the Intel Hades Canyon NUC does.

This PC effortlessly has the ability to handle Full HD gaming with the best present-day titles and performs magnificently. It gives a bona fide high-end desktop computing on a specific chip loaded into an exemplary modest and well-assembled mini PC.

How Does it Work?

The Radeon RX Vega graphics provide the ability to modern HD games with a top-notch graphical setting and a 1080p resolution. This is exactly what Intel and AMD guaranteed.

Apart from gaming, the Intel Hades Canyon Nuc is also reliable and convenient in, for instance, web browsing and video-image editing. That not all, fans of the multi-monitor feature are not forgotten by the Intel Hades Canyon Nuc as it can drive up to six screens.

If portability is an issue, the Intel Hades Canyon Nuc is small to carry around anywhere. The only thing one has to ensure it not to judge this impeccable PC in terms of size. Anyone judging it by its size would be put to great shame after recognizing its amazing features and its distinct level of performance.

Designs

Funny enough the Hades Canyon NUC looks similar to a digital set-top box rather than a desktop PC. It is pretty light; weight around 1kg, now that’s very light for a PC. This PC is not all about gaming, and it can also be used as a work computer. This means that it would not be a source of distraction due to its size, and one would at least save some office space.

Size does not mean one has to worry about the availability or else the number of ports. It is packed with a remarkable amount of ports.

There are four USB 3.0 ports, two mini Display ports, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI 2.0 and even two Gigantic Ethernet port at its backside. Now that is pretty astonishing because it is much more connectivity that in some full-sized desktops.

Just in case of any repairs, opening up the Hades Canyon NUC is very simple. It only requires undoing six Torx screws and a single Phillips head. Now with the upper cover removed, that paves the way to the computer’s memory slots in addition to the M.2 NVMe and SATA drives.

That’s not all concerning this PC’s design. It has a glossy lightened-up skull which is styled up after the silicon that endures within. This sleekness on this portion of the case in addition to the not-big hard drive plus the power indicators can all be fully customized, or else they can all be turned off for a crafty unit.
